Belief Musings

Is belief in something what makes it real?

What is the difference between knowing and believing? And can you really know something if you don’t actually believe it?

As they say that seeing is believing. Is perceiving something with one of our senses what makes us believe it?

And what do I believe? Can you make yourself believe something? Or does it simply happen?

Belief can manifest itself in the form of anything and anyone. But it seems that it’s the light that we put these things in that makes them what we see them to be. We assigned this goal, this adventure to something, and so in it we can discover things about ourselves. It’s a big game of make believe.

And maybe that’s what the point of heaven is. It’s this long term belief in something that you do not ever reach in this lifetime. Instead of accomplishing a goal and then proceeding to get stuck as to where to go from there, you are forever striving for that goal. And if you put all of your belief in it, you will be striving for this magic your whole life. With no doubts and no disappointments in the final results and outcome.

[Whatever you believe, is. And will always be as long as you still believe it. As long as you still remember. Do not put all of your belief into something temporary but instead something timeless. For it can never fade.

But you have to remember that it exists, or you will not be able to see it, no matter what form it takes on. And you cannot expect anything from it, other than what you are given.

Just because someone sparks a flame within you, doesn’t mean that they hold the fire. ]
