Observation

Are our senses influenced by experience or are they pretty much uniform throughout our lives with the exception of possible aging and injury?

Well my question was, if I had no memories and no comprehension of the future, would I still hear, see, etc the same as i do now with experience and expectations.

But then I started thinking about the difference between observation and perception.

However, if I am expecting something to happen do I selectively observe for it?

I'm contemplating the arrow of time and if senses are exempt from it.
