Everything Is Possible

My life is wonderful right now.
Good friends, deep conversations, at peace.
And I’m noticing things around me that make me think that many of my previous theories are correct.
And the arrows just keep coming.
I am riding on a great wave.
"If you do anything but accept that anything is possible in this moment, then you are narrowing down the possibilities of what could happen. Or some take on 'give your visions wider view'."
Time only exists because of memory. We argue that. regarding people with memory loss, that time still passes even though they don’t remember it happening. But we overlook the other side of this coin.
Yes, we gauge forward motion by events that have happened in the past, in the moment before, all building on each other to create a timeline. We speak of memory as something that measures the past. However perhaps we are trapped in this arrow of time because we are also unaware of the future. What if everything has already happened? Not even that, what if everything is always happening? That the reality that we perceive draws in the answers that we seek, determines the world that currently surrounds us.
And when I say that, currently, that might not exist, perhaps the world only exists in the last moment that we observed. Which means that it is always a past memory at the moment that we take the time to notice about it. The present, the moment between past and future, what occurs during it? By the time you process it, to register a sight, sound, taste, that moment has already happened. So it can never be observed.

Once again I believe that this mirrors the findings of quantum physics. That everything around us is either
functioning as a particle or a wave. If you do not take the time to define whats going on around you, to solidify it, the world will continue to flow through you. But the moment you see a chair and think chair, it has now solidified into particle form. The wave collapses. This is a flaw of the human condition.
We have a need to define things, to categorize them, to communicate and be able to express them to others. Although chairs can be made out of completely different materials, have various shapes, weights, sizes, we still call things that we sit on chairs. At least in English. And it is such a broad statement, so limiting, to think of something merely as a chair. It is so many other things and yet we discard it all. The way that a dog is not just a dog. Although all dogs fit the definition ‘a domesticated carnivorous mammal that typically has a long snout, an acute sense of smell, and a barking, howling, or whining voice. It is widely kept as a pet or for work or field sports.’ Each individual dog is so much more than that category. There are so many things that I hold dear about my dog because of who she is, her personality, her relationship with me. And yet we walk down the street in a rush and our brain just takes in ‘there is a dog across the street’ We strip away everything else that that dog actually is.
(And yes you might argue that it is different when describing living things, why we are given names to try to encapsulate us as an individual person. But what about the post it note in front of me on my desk? Yes they appear completely uniform, nothing notably different between one and another. But did they come from the same tree? Did those trees get cut down at the same age, take in the same nutrients, face the same storms or summer heat? Did the same person cut down those trees, did the same employee take part in the re-purposing? And does it matter if no one thinks about it and cares?
And what about sentimental items? I can have two ceramic bowls of the same size, color, shape. But one can mean something different to me because I made it. I don’t just see it as a thing, I put a little bit of my heart into it.)
I think that’s why the world looks somehow brighter when you are inspired. Why songs sound more powerful and meaningful, why a flower that you walk by half noticed every day can suddenly stand out and seem so beautiful. Its why pictures that are forced do not look as good. Because when we are living life on an agenda, with worries, tasks, we only define our surroundings. We pull out of the driveway and arrive at work not even remembering the drive because you were so lost in your own thoughts. You still took in road, lights, people, houses, but only in their broadest sense.
But when we were inspired, in love, in a calm, however you experience it, we hear the song playing on the radio and we feel it. We see a rose and appreciate it, the individual, not trying to break it down, really not contemplating it at all, only appreciating it, taking it in. Experiencing its essence in its entirety. Living in the moment as it is. Not rushing to the next appointment. Not forgoing the present moment to get to the desired future, a future that may not even come. Power walking past so many missed moments. Only to have your plans fall though any how. The definition of disappointment. Wanting for something in the future instead of noticing everything that currently is.
Anyways, I may have strayed from my topic. And with every thought I had, 20 more popped up. I swear this ties to everything. When you notice the little things that reassure you that you are on the right path. When there are signs in the exact moment that you needed them. When the universe seems to be showing you all of the answers.
That's what happened to me with the Jurassic Park theme song. It is similar to the Law of Attraction in the idea that what you believe you will have, will come to you. However, I embedded an emotion. And knew with certainty that I would hold this essence during my interview regardless of what questions where actually thrown my way. And that nothing could take that essence of pure childhood magic that I was now radiating, from me.
I think that’s how the LoA is flawed in some teachings. They say if you want money, then live as if you already have it. But money is a particle, and yet you are trying to tune in to its frequency. Perhaps when they say to live as if you have it, live as how having it would affect you. Whether you would feel like you have more time in your life, that you can eat foods that you’ve been craving, whether you would become stressed with the additional money or end up miserable after spending it on surrounding yourself with inanimate things. All of those ways of living will get you that money, if the truth that you currently emanate matches that if you were to come into that money.
Its not something that you can literally ask for. You cannot preoccupy yourself with solid thoughts or plans to make it happen. You have to stay in the moment while letting that essence flow through you. You must be bare and vulnerable and completely open. As again, any closed thoughts will eliminate possibilities. Sometimes I wonder if I truly believed that in the next moment anything could happen. That I could be in Egypt, that a plane could crash through my office, that a clown could walk down the hallway, that I would see a deceased loved one… if more amazing things would present themselves. If I really had no expectations for the next moment.
(Although, as I type this, I expect that in the next moment I will type the next letter of the word that I am currently spelling. So that’s what probably going to happen. Maybe I’ll hit the wrong key and then have to adjust. But although I am not expecting it to happen, I definitely believe that it is possible, and so now and then I hit the wrong key. Now if I genuinely believed that it was not possible to type and letters other than the exact ones as I am intending… could I mess up?)
To believe that -not just really want it, or just talk yourself up about your actual abilities- would be very hard for me to even imagine. I guess it is not only the law of attraction. What ever you believe, is. If you believe that something is impossible, it will not happen. If you believe that it will, it will. What I need to understand is how to live in that grace. Because beliefs cannot be rationalized or explained or justified. It is a knowing, it is a truth. It is an energy. And its not something that can be faked.
That does bring up a question though about people who believe things that the people around them observe as not being true. Like that one lady who believed that she was in a relationship with a singer from Nickelback. Like that persons really believes that this is happening in their life…but there's solid evidence that this relationship is nothing more than imaginary. Or maybe that illness creates a story on the frequency that is necessary. That this belief causes the person to feel happy and at peace and loved, which is what they are seeking. So they are given something to believe in so that they can eventually get those things in life. Perhaps this fake belief is still attracting those qualities, but not in the same physical form as its being expressed. She is on the path to love, happiness, peace but Nickelback isn’t the way these manifest when she finally attracts this.
Perhaps that’s why there is some truth in situations where once you are in a relationship suddenly everyone wants to date you. There have also been times that I’ve been secretly head over heels for people who would ever only be friends. But the lightness and clarity that I experienced when around them, when little things that he said took my breath away, there was magic soaking my spine. I was kinder and more patient, I was never bothered by rude customers or demanding requests. They couldn’t touch me. And they didn’t know I was feeling this magic, and they didn’t reciprocate my feelings, but I still radiated the way that they made me feel. And eventually that magic feeling was matched and I felt that same way in another form.
Just because someone ignites the spark within you, doesn’t mean that they hold the flame. Now, if I was dead set on that guy, I probably would have blocked out a lot of possibilities which I refused to notice. Luckily, I have understood this truth for some time now. Hopefully, I still do.
So that was another tangent.
From tonight though, I think the main thought that I want to contemplate more is: ‘all things are occurring in the present moment.’ Everything is always happening. The only time that anything occurs is in the present moment. Something can happen multiple times, something can happen not at all.
And why do we assume that there will be a next moment? Is it because there has been one every time before? People always compare the arrow of time to film. Frame after frame stack one after another to create an event. And we basically have a memory of this past series of events that we then measure. Its like we are making this movie we ourselves are unsure how it might end. Yet we still assume that we have more time, more frames to this collection. And yet when I live in the moment, I don’t even worry about the next moment. I don’t think that I assume it will occur because I don’t think about it at all. Perhaps it is our habit of making plans, putting things off, scheduling, that gives us this entitlement to a tomorrow. That we wasted so much of the present on it, that it must come, we need that closure.
( I'm trying to accept that everything is happening all the time. That all things are possible at any given moment. I wanted to find a way to believe that I could be on a beach in Europe in the next frame. But then I remembered that all the possibilities occurring right now are waves. Our next moment can match every possible vibration. Our senses however create our surroundings. The vibration is not dependent on physical objects. So location is irrelevant. Such a jump and change in matter might not be possible. Or maybe my belief of that is why I wont happen to me. However, I believe our senses have expectations of what will surround us. I think we fill in the blanks to create and modify the surroundings as our vibration shifts. However ,I believe that it is gradual. There is no reason for me to be suddenly in Europe if I am experiencing that same frequency in my office. (I wish haha) So why would that ever randomly turn everything regarding our idea of time and distance upside down? However, now that my vibration has changed, the coffee brewing down the hall smells cozy, a friend sent me a phone message, I laughed out loud to myself when I heard a joke. Its hard to compare small office changes to a beach in Europe because in reality I am not currently vibrating on the frequency that I would be if I were on a beach in Europe, so to me, in this moment, these two realities aren’t comparable. Maybe say id be vibrating at this same frequency whether I was here or whether I was on my lunch break at balfurds. So I remain here. Because my senses could not handle the shock. Its like when people tell you they are going to light a lighter by your skin while you are blindfolded and then they touch an ice cube to your skin and you feel your hand burn from the flame. We have expectations or at least rules to what will change in the transition from moment to moment.)
If we had no senses, we would have no sense of time, and location and surroundings would not matter. Literally, they would probably exist as waves. And yet vibration is not directly dependent on any of these.
So does having senses create our arrow of time. Could we measure moments without these? Could we compare and contrast? Would we have the ability to experience? What would determine our current frequency? Could you still absorb different essences without observation? Is that what black matter is? Is that what changes when I am present? Is that why the same thing will look different? The layer of waves in between the object and me? And if the vibration matched mine would it lift a veil in a way. No more interference or static blocking my connection with it?
But how do I stay tuned in to that fleeting station? And what happens when I reach the shore?
If I don't know of, if I don't yet see the shore... why would I ask that? To assume that I will someday be there, that the wave will eventually break, it makes it a possible reality.
Why would I ever think that the station could be lost?
It is the only thing that makes no sense. As in, it is not detectable by the senses. It is the only thing that is not tied down to time or distance.
And if I ever lose that signal, then it would be my own thoughts that kill it. Through fear, through vein, through confusion.
I would fall out of tune. I would be the one changing the station.
Please. Help me take life's obstacles with grace. Never flinching, never pausing to analyze, never running away from this unknown.
Help me move through all moments with elegance.
Because this is nothing.
And with every fiber of my being, I promise, that it is everything.
